    Man isn't life just pointless.

This is what people care about.

I'm really interested in finding out what sort of message the artist is trying to get across by leaving so many statues "unfinished." Why aren't there heads/legs/complete bodies on so many of these sculptures? Is that the point: that women are looked upon as just parts and objects, as opposed to complete human beings? I am intrigued, and a little bit unnerved, by these pieces....

@sonacry: Why do people need to find "hidden meanings" behind sculptures and paintings? There are NO hidden meanings. Period.

I love the one with the fingers.

maybe he doesn't carve the rest because thats all he cares about

Not carving the entire thing makes the figures less human. If those sculptures had faces, people would look at them in a completely different way and probably would be more apt to repulsion or take offense to them. Or it could just be artistic effect.

there are plenty of statues of men that have been left unfinished as well. no one makes a big deal about that. you know why? because no one gives a damn. stop looking for shit that isn't there. maybe the artist appreciates the beauty of the female figure. maybe he/she is making a statement about the media's portrayal of the female body. maybe he's just some perv that likes ass and tits. whatever the case may be, get the fuck over it and go cry about something worth crying over. they're fucking statues.

Art is about the hidden meanings. Art that has no meaning isn't art it's Kitsch.. I don't understand why people think that art is pointless. My life is Art, so get off your pedestal and open your mind.

Everything has meaning.. Does that make everything art?
I think the sculptures focus on the beautiful curves on a woman's body. To look at breasts, back, fingers, the ability to pleasures one self as something beautiful rather than vulgar and perverted and I completely agree with #9 If they were complete sculptures everyone wouldn't see what this man/woman is trying to portray.

At first I thought, "oh, it's probably just a 13 year old." Then I realized - a philistine is a philistine, regardless of age.

Art needs no meaning to be art. You think abstract artist create completely uncreative and indeterminate art to explain something? No. They do it to make money. I sit here as a realist tagger knowing full well that artists don't have a hunger for deeper meaning, they have a hunger for attention and display. Not to say that artists don't use art to express, but most of them just want to pay the bills or gain rep. Also, enlightenment is for the philosopher.

@ adam.lucas, Your comment is pointless. You are just mad because no one cares about you. I think these are awesome pieces and thats that.

Hands, feet and faces are very detailed...Could be the artist is just lazy....LOL

Or they appreciate the abstract nature of a woman's curves.

When I saw a few of them....I though...How can I buy one of these?

So....could be they are made to make money. And seems that part would be working.....
